I enlisted in the US Navy in February 1983. I attended boot camp, BE&E and Radioman

radioman tech schools.

I served on three boats in my career. The USS Haddo (SSN 604) in San Diego, CA from
1984 to 1988. I qualified on this one and made 2 Western Pacific deployments. The USS
Tautog (SSN 639) in Pearl Harbor, HI from 1992 to 1996. I made Chief on this one and
made 2 Western Pacific deployments. The USS Jefferson City (SSN 759) in San Diego,
CA from 1999 to 2002. I made 2 Western Pacific and Persian Gulf deployments on this
one.

I did my share of shore duty, too. ComSubGru 7 in Yokosuka, Japan from 1988 to 1992 as
a Communications Watch Officer. Trident Training Facility in Bangor, WA from 1996 to
1999 as an Instructor. ComSubRon 11 in San Diego, CA from 2002 to 2005 as the
Assistant Communicator.

I retired in 2005 after 22 glorious years of service as a Chief Electronics Technician.
Although I entered the Navy as a Radioman, in 1996 I was force converted to a forward
ET along with the forward IC, QM, NavET and ESM ET’s.

I started work at Little Rock National Airport in December 2005 as an Electronics

I joined the USSVI and Razorback base in 2005. In October 2006, I took over the base
